Half Past Ten
Karya :
Nadya Rahmanita
It’s half past ten;
Some people are looking at the city skylines,shining
towers,avenues;
The crowds, traffic jam;
They breathing in the cold, cold air
But their eyes remain lights, endless fire
It’s half past ten;
Some people leave their work;
Eating on the restaurants;
Laughing, talking, some of them somewhere dancing;
They never stop,
For they’re forever living in a busy city, starless city
That needs no sun
That never sleep though;
It’s half past ten;
Some people don’t laugh, they don’t cry, they’re just walking
on the mindless street lamps,
Observing people passing by
At a home of restless people
With an empty heart.
